Dentures

Dentures can replace some or all of the teeth in your mouth. These artificial teeth attach to a pink acrylic base that looks identical to the natural color and texture of your gums. Once created, your new dentures connect to your implants.

Dental bridges

A dental bridge consists of two or more crowns that can connect to your dental implants for a fully restored smile. These also can be connected to dental implants.

What happens during dental implant restoration?

It takes about 6-12 weeks for your mouth to fully heal from the dental implant procedure. It’s important that you wait for your mouth to completely heal before visiting Dr. Helton, as implant surgery typically causes swelling that can impact the accuracy of your impressions.

After deciding the right type of replacement teeth for you, Dr. Helton takes impressions of your mouth. These impressions serve as a model for your new teeth.

While you wait for your new replacement teeth, Dr. Helton may fit you for a temporary restoration to protect your implants.

Finally, once your replacement teeth are ready, he connects them to your implants to restore your smile.
